What's Your Election Plan?

All over social media, people are posting a very important question. What’s your voting plan?

We all know voting looks pretty different this year. In New York City, my husband and I waited four and a half hours to cast our vote! Having a voting plan is pretty darn critical if you want to ensure your voice is heard in this election.

Once you’ve cast your vote, it’s time to ask a different question: What’s your election plan?

In this super noisy world, everywhere you look someone or something is trying to force feed yourself election-related coverage 24/7. If you want to protect yourself against that, you need a plan.

Many people in the know believe it’s going to take multiple days for the election results to be finalized. Are you planning to spend all week attached to your phone or glued to the tv or scrolling through social media?

If the answer is no, what boundaries are you ready to put in place for yourself so that you can consume enough information to know what’s going on, but not so much information that you drive yourself absolutely crazy?

Boundaries are a form of self care.

So, what’s your election plan?
